I’ve noticed that YouTube and other players show the time marker to be completed long before the end of the video / audio. YouTube also has glitches /dead spots in its video / audio at random times.
Are there any resolutions for these bugs?

this sounds more like a drivers issue, what hardware do you have?
Intel motherboard with builtin Intel sound and video
2.6ghz processor Dual Core
4 gigs ram
Intel is known to have a drivers issue. The reason is supposedly the hardware internally upscales any sound from 44.1Khz to 48Khz, which causes inconsistencies and glitches.
